Having started in Austin, TX, most of Maniac MarCom's content fell under technical writing in the early years. We worked with start-ups to create user guides for v1.0 of their software. We worked with hardware companies to describe what buttons to push when. Technical writing is still much of what we do, only the content has moved to the web. Now, we write knowledge base articles that explain to customers how to do one small thing, FAQ content that answers a specific question, and other short content that addresses the ever-shrinking attention span of today's customers.
We love writing stuff that shows the world how great your business is and what you have to offer the world! We've done this with project sheets, Requests for Proposals (RFQs), Requests for Projects (RFPs), website content, and in other clever ways!
Owner Sylvia Christensen's Midwestern accent (or lack thereof) has been used in software demos, phone systems, and presentations galore. If you need a voice, we'll be happy to lend you ours!
